Happy Birthday to ME!

To be honest, turning 26 was not that eventful. It has not rained in Grand Rapids for 2 weeks and my birthday the temp drops 20 degrees and rains all....day....long. So to occupy my time I sat inside (in my pj's) watching Saved by the Bell on netflix. Thank you Zack Morris.

But when Dan got home from work, I was craving some Tepanyaki so we went to this local Japanese Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. Leftovers are on my mind for later today! After dinner, we went to the mall where I blew my Bday money on some gorgeous nude pumps. They're so pretty I just want to hold them. So money's gone, still feeling a little blue but Dan came through and surprised me with an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen! Every year for my birthday I always have an ice cream cake and it made my night that he remembered!!!

Check out this ugly cake lol. Am I turning 76 or 26?

After a good laugh, I didn't care one bit. I loooooove ice cream cake and now I have a good weeks supply in my freezer to keep my happy :)

It was a low key, quiet bday but at the end of the day I have the most important person with me <3

3rd Trimester

Ok, I'm a little late on my posting but here I am beginning my 3rd trimester! As of last week I am 8 months along and just truckin' along. Is it me or has my belly not grown much from 28 to 32 weeks? But the numbers on the scale keep getting bigger...hmmm.

Baby T should be about the size of a honeydew, weighing anywhere from 4-5 lbs. She has her eyes open when awake and can coordinate breathing, swallowing and sucking. Sounds like she almost ready, about 6 more weeks! There's still a lot to do though. I'm having one more shower here in Michigan so we'll see if I get any other must-haves before we run out and buy everything else we need. And the list never seems to end!

Cravings haven't changed much, but my appetite has! I find myself eating AT LEAST every 2 hours, a lot of the times sooner lol. I try and keep in mind what I'm scarfing down whether it's a slice of peanut butter toast, an apple, a yogurt...but sometimes a bag of chocolate covered almonds sneaks in (yes, a bag). But I'm still walking everyday, go me!

So besides the heartburn, acid reflux and constant peeing everything is going smoothly :)

Baby Shower

I just got back from a relaxing week at home in Missouri! Even though it rained THE ENTIRE WEEK it's always fun hangin around the house, eating at my favorite places, seeing old friends and laughing with my family.

While I was home, my family threw me an amazing baby shower! They did an awesome job!
THE MENU:

B.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l

If that wasn't enough, by the front door guests could grab some treats to go. Lollipops, Caramel Pops, Oreo Pops and Ring Pops...all fitting the theme, "She's about to Pop."

I got lots of goodies for Baby T but we still have a ways to go! Who knew a baby required so much stuff?!?  I'm not gonna lie, it's a bit overwhelming! So much to do in so little time (7 more weeks to be exact).

Lot's of changes happening at the Tracy house, including where we live. We are moving from our 1 bedroom to a little house. More to come on that transition as well as all the other exciting changes underway as we get ready to meet this little girl :)

Thanks again to my party planners and all who came/sent gifts for the shower!
