Our Story

2006

Our story is a bit complicated. But I'll give you the condensed version. Daniel and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other (him in Harrisonville, MO and me in Lee's Summit, MO) but never hung out. We went to the same church and saw each other occasionally but he being four years older than me you can see why we never "dated." I found him obviously beautiful and would giggle with my girlfriends when I saw him but when he graduated high school and moved away I never really gave him a second thought. He, however, must have kept a file of me back in his head because years later I received a phone call from him when I was in college at BYU-Idaho. 

The conversation when something like this..."This is Daniel Tracy, remember me? I hear you visit Utah often. Next time you're down here do you want to go out?" My answer was "YES, YES, YES!" It happened that I was visiting Utah that weekend and we met up and hit it off instantly. We joked about how I always had a crush on him and how he always thought I was pretty but felt weird asking me out when I was so much younger than him. Of course now, four years age difference really isn't much...And well, the rest is history.

2007

One year later of dating, countless hours talking on the phone, thousands of miles traveled from Rexburg, ID to Provo, UT and back again, one trip to Cancun, Mexico and one blissful summer spent every single day together we got engaged!

2008

May 7, 2008 we were married in the Nauvoo, IL temple. After we got hitched we moved to Rexburg, ID so I could finish my bachelor's in Business Marketing. 

2012

We became parents to a baby girl, Norah Marie Tracy on May 17, 2012.

We love how we have traded our lives of late night movies, dinner dates out and weekends away to dirty diapers, paying babysitters, and bedtime by 9pm. We wouldn't have it any other way....

2014

October 14, 2014 we welcomed baby boy Hamilton Wade Tracy. We are thrilled to have him join this crazy little family of ours. Welcome to chaos little man!
