Happy Easter!

As a new parent, it's safe to say that any "first" holiday for your child is exciting! As a kid, Easter was pretty simple in our home. We focused on it's meaning and got Easter Baskets with our favorite candy in it. Which is probably how we'll continue the holiday in our own home. But there's something about snapping those "firsts!"

Yes, we filled a basket full of candy she cannot eat. But I know someone who can...THIS GAL!

No Rhythm Norah

We've got a little head bobbing, booty shaking, hip swinging dancer in the house! Here are just a couple video's I took when my mom was visiting. Also, thanks Grandma for introducing Norah to the iPad...that's all she wants to do now is to watch Elmo or Katy Perry. Sigh...

10 Months

Well things have turned up a few notches in the past month.  We've been working on little things like "kisses,"  "bye-bye," "mama and dada," and just plain ole crawling. It was like overnight and all of a sudden she's a kissing, bye-bye waving, mama and dada yellin, crwaling machine! Sounds exhausting doesn't it? It is, but SOOOOO much fun! 

So she can crawl now, but her favorite is pulling herself up. On everything. One of these days (hopefully later than sooner) she's just going to let go and walk to what she wants. Freaks me out!

She's getting more interested in books. She'll pick up a book and crawl to me and hand it to me like she wants me to read her a story. Even though as soon as I start reading she just turns the page before I can finish. 

She's getting a bit tired of her headbands. She pulled them off every now and then but now it's like...headband on. Nope, headband off. Fruuuustrating! 

There are so many new fun things this girl is doing it's hard to keep track. I try my best and journal all the fun, new, cute things she does but now there's just too much!

Grandma - Norah Time

Last week my mom came to visit and squeeze in some much needed Grandma - Norah time. We spent each day shopping for the Little Miss and playing dress up. 

 

It's only been since Christmas when Norah last saw my mom but she is doing so much more now that it was really fun seeing her interact with someone else who loves her as much as I do! 

 

Thanks for the fun week Grandma!!! We miss you!

Mexican Night

Feeding this child anything and keeping her clean is no small task. But Mexican Night is the hardest. Black beans and avocado find ways places you never knew existed. 

But she loves it soooooo much!
