Well this just happened, We officially have a threenager in the house! We started her day off right with letting her pick out doughnuts (pink icing with sprinkles, shocker) as we sang Happy Birthday to her. I think we could have ended it right there and she would have been on cloud 9. But earlier in the week I took her to the party store and let her pick out whatever decorations she wanted for her party.
No surprise to me, she chose My Little Pony almost instantly and did not change her mind. We had a My little Pony banner with My Little Pony Plates.
She picked out all the balloons too! She made sure there was all her favorite colors which I guess are pink, another shade of pink, purple, blue and green.
I even let her decide what kind of cake she wanted. She told me a pink cake with purple sprinkles. This is the best I could do and she was thrilled.
I picked out the balloon only because its awesome and I wanted a picture just like this!
We invited over Norah's cousins, Jane and Caroline for dinner, presents and cake. She got a big stuffed Rainbow Dash, a Bell doll, and a My Little Pony backpack filled with PONIES! She's only been asking for them for about a month lol.
We sang Happy Birthday and let her blow out the candles. As if throwing your child a birthday party isn't fun enough, I think it just got better when they actually "get it."
Here's a video of all the fun moments on her big day
The girls played their little hearts out until us parents had heard one tantrum too many and called it a night! Norah slept with all her ponies, they ate breakfast with her the next morning and even went to church. I would say this year was a birthday win:)
We love you Norah, Happy Birthday sweet girl!
