Halloween 2015

Halloween sure is getting fun around here!
Norah so badly wanted to be Dorothy and wear her ruby slippers. I got her a basket for for her candy and everything, minus Toto.

Hamilton made the cutest little Lion. All we were missing was tin man and the scarecrow!

 My babes.

Here's the whole crew. Norah and Hamilton with cousins Jane, Caroline and Eleanor.

We only made it a few blocks but the girls were ready to come back to the house and revel in their splurges. We ate junk, drank butterbeer and watched old horror films while the kids crashed. I'd say this year was a success!

Happy Halloween!

Yearly Video's

What do you mama's do with the thousands of pictures you take of your kids??? No, I'm serious! So many video's and pictures are taken of our kids and as for me, they just sit on my phone/computer and do nothing. I'm not a scrapbooker, paper or digital. Recently I've been searching for some way to document my children's growth, milestones and cuteness. And then I was introduced to videography! Basically, I've compiled "the best of" of each year of Norah and Hamilton's life and put it to music.

I went back in the archives and have retroactively documented the first three years of Norah's life and the first year for Hamilton. I had so much fun looking through old photo's and video's, now I'm kind of sad this project is over but the fun things is I'll get to make a new video for each kid just after they celebrate a birthday. I hope to keep this going until their 18th birthday and compile all video's on a disc. So please, sit back and enjoy!

Hamilton's 1st Birthday

Hamilton's party was a ton of fun to put together! I knew I wanted a vintage airplane feel for the party and I came across these super cute invitations on etsy. When I got them I just put together details that went well with these colors/style and everything kind of fell into place!

Here's the table set-up, I loved the way it all came together:)

Yes. Yes it does!

Those nutter butter's are "in flight peanuts...." Get it:)

If only flight refreshments were this tasty!

Those who came to fly with us that day got their own box of homemade caramel corn. Daniel makes the BEST caramel corn!

I had this cake made from a local bakery and I was very pleased with the way it turned out. I added the plane and the "ONE" banner. Cupcakes were homemade with love!

Last look at the table.

Hamilton got his own cupcake and he was a bit hesitant on what to do with it. It eventually made it's way to his mouth and I think he was happy with what he discovered.

See? Pure JOY!

We loved having our family join us for this celebration. Grandma and Grandpa Furnell flew in for the big day which made it that much more special. Norah was a big girl helper. She helped him open his presents and blow out his candles. She really is a dream as big sisters go:)

We love you Hammy!

11 Months

There's only 1 sticker left.
Do you know what that means?!
In one month, we will have a one year old running around the house! And yes, he is close to "running" around the house, sigh...

This little guy has 4 teeth now, standing on his own for several seconds and climbing on everything. I know walking is not far way. He's happy and easy going as ever!

And now I need to start planning his 1st birthday! Stay tuned!

10 Months

Where is the time going? Another month has come and gone. Not much has changed with our little guy. He just keeps getting busier and busier! And more adventurous... Note the bruise under his eye. He's constantly pulling himself up on things and falls down. But he's a tough little dude!

This months photoshoot proved difficult. He's not sitting still and smiling for his mama. Usually I snap tons of great pics and narrow them down to the best. But these few are literally the only decent ones I have! What a little booger. But he sure steals my heart :)

Happy 4th

The fourth of July came at the tail end our extended stay in Missouri. Daniel flew out for the long weekend and we spent the holiday with his parents and his brother Adam and their family that was also visiting. The weather was perfect and we had an awesome time!

In the morning grandpa Tracy took the big kids fishing. I wasn't there but Daniel brought her home early if that gives you any indication on what she thought of it lol. Next time!

When they all got back Norah loved playing in grandma's new play house. She was making "tea" for everyone who walked by, or even if you weren't walking by lol.

Norah and her cousins Sarah, Ryan and Benjamin taking a quick break from playing to eat some of the yummy food we had!

If she wasn't in the play house she was in grandma's pool

The girlies

Too much fun. Seriously.

Ready for fireworks!!!

Helping dad light the fireworks

I had to keep telling her they weren't real snakes!

Hugs to grandma before heading inside and sleeping off the long day! The next morning we got up 5am and started making the drive back to Utah. Back to reality!
