He got TWO cakes?!?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAN!!!

The festivities began on Memorial Day (the day before Dan's bday) in Blackfoot. We went down to spend the day BBQ-ing with Nate, Camille and the fam. Nate grills a mean shishkabob...too bad we were filled up on jalapeno poppers and snicker salad to eat them!!! :) For dessert, Meghann got Dan a tasty cheesecake and even decorated it with little soccer balls and a big 2-7 so everyone knew just how "young" he really is. 

Jensen was suppose to help Dan blow out the candles but I think she was too anxious to get a hold of a soccerball. 

Unfortunately the next day both Meg and Dan had to go back to work. But that didn't stop Meg from taking Dan out to a birthday lunch at Friday's. We had the worst waitress ever, but that's another story. That night we had friends over to eat up Dan's second cake...yes he got TWO cakes. The german chocolate cake was mighty tasty as well. It was even a nice perk to have the living room filled with Orlando Magic AND Cleaveland Cav's fans...but yes the Magic triumphed afterall in overtime! 

Dan not only got two cakes but he got tickets to the soccer allstars game in Salt Lake, but that is not until the end of July so Meg also got him Nick and Norah's Infinite Playist...ON BLUERAY! Overall, it was a good long birthday weekend for the birthday boy. 

HE DID IT!!!

As some of you may already know...Daniel got accepted into Thunderbird! Thunderbird was Dan's first choice MBA school. It is also the number one international MBA school in the country!!! We are SO PROUD of him! All his hard work and studying paid off :)

Our decision to move to Arizona is not yet final. We are still waiting to see what other schools (if any) Dan gets accepted into so that we may make an educated decision on where we should move and what would be best for our family!

Nonetheless, being accepted to such a prestigious school is such an accomplishment!

Our One Year Anniversary!!!!

Happy Mom day to all on this wonderful afternoon. We want to let you all know that this past May 7th Meghann and Daniel experienced their best one year anniversary EVER! Oh, and Camille Tracy turned another year older.

Things are happening fast around here. Between Meghann graduating and finding an internship to Daniel getting laid off, taking the GMAT, and finding a new job all while waiting to find out if his 540 score will be good enough to get him into the school he wants; Thursday was the day of our one year and it was a modest one. After work, Daniel arrived to take his lovely wife out to the best restuarant in town... Taco Bell! If you can believe it, Daniel made it out of the anniversary dinner for under 10 dollars!

After the new Taco Bell taco salad, we exchanged gifts in which Daniel bought Meghann chocolate and Meghann made Daniel a Lemon Merigue pie. As you can tell in the picture, Meghann could not quite get the merang quite right. In fact, 2 hours and a whole carton of eggs later, she kinda got it right. While not the best looking pie, Daniel says it was the best tasting pie he had ever eaten.

To all those who couldn't be there...HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US! And we thank you. One year down, and forever to go :)
