11 Months

So each month's photo shoot gets a bit harder and harder. Especially since this little lady is constantly on the move! Trying to tell her to sit in a chair while I snap pictures...yeah right! At first I was super frustrated but then I just started snapping away at the fit of tears anyway! It's the milestones and memories like this that are priceless!

Things started off innocent enough. This was literally the only pic I got of her smiling at the camera
(PS, I could not get the hair brush out of her kung fu death grip).

Oops, getting distracted by that stupid hair brush!

Okay, she's done. Bye bye Mom.

Me: "No, Norah. I need a few more pics of you sitting and smiling...
Norah: "AAAAAAHAAHHAAHHAA!!!"

If you've noticed she is no longer holding the hairbrush. It's because she just chucked it across the room.
I have no idea where she gets that attitude, sigh....

Pitiful.

Luckily for me, she isn't always like this! 90% of the time she is my little angel baby. She loves to socialize and be around other people and babies. She gets a bit bored being stuck in the house all day with boring old Mom. So we try and get out as often as possible and see friends and have play dates. If summer ever comes to Michigan then we can start going to the parks! I can't wait to get this little gal on a swing!

One more month folks till this little lady is one year old!
I am totally in denial.

Rub-a-dub-dub

Bath time in this house typically consists of this naked little girl splashing away as Sadie tries to lick the water off her. Take a look....

This is all of course followed by uncontrollable giggling and more splashing.
Could my job be any more fun?

Happy Easter!

As a new parent, it's safe to say that any "first" holiday for your child is exciting! As a kid, Easter was pretty simple in our home. We focused on it's meaning and got Easter Baskets with our favorite candy in it. Which is probably how we'll continue the holiday in our own home. But there's something about snapping those "firsts!"

Norah in her Easter best :)

Trying on her bunny ears

Hugging her stuffed bunny with sheer excitement!
(fyi: that was my stuffed bunny when I was a little girl)

"EGGS! These eggs rattle! More eggs!"

Yes, we filled a basket full of candy she cannot eat. But I know someone who can...THIS GAL!
Don't judge me.
