6 Years and Ingrid

Today we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary with Daniel away on business in Canada. But he was a sweet husband and had flowers delivered to me while he was away.

Our anniversary present to each other was a few weeks earlier when we went to see Ingrid Michaelson in concert in Detroit. We actually saw her there exactly 2 years ago when I was pregnant with Norah.

I'd be okay if she came every two years. Love her shows!

Welp, 6 years with this goofy man of mine and it's been an adventure! Besides all the reasons why wives love their husbands (loving, caring, provides for the family, bla bla bla...)

I love him also because he doesn't say anything when I've gone two months without dusting. Because he bakes the worlds best chocolate chip cookies. Because he loves all things Disney. Because he doesn't mind leftovers. And because he lets me openly admit I'm in love with another woman, the wonderfully talented Ingrid Michaelson :)

Happy Anniversary to us!

Easter 2014

Welp, the Easter Bunny made his way to the Tracy house and left lots of goodies for miss Norah.
Hint: Play-doh is really for children 3 and up

She had quite a fun time discovering her basket and pulling out all the fun treats

Especially the eggs filled with jelly beans because they sounded fun when you shook them. I showed her how to open them up so she could eat them but she didn't like the taste one bit and just wanted me to close the egg so she could shake them again lol. That girl....

Norah wanted Sadie to have a turn with the bunny ears on too. Good girl Sadie.

We got all dressed in our new Easter dress and shoes and headed off to church. I didn't get any pics of her in her dress until after church and post nap so her pig tails are a bit out of control lol. But the weather was absolutely beautiful and we spent the day as a family, mostly outside playing.

We enjoyed taking the day to reflect on the meaning of Easter that because of our Savior, death is not the end, we celebrate life and we can live with God again.

Hope you enjoyed Easter with your families as well!

Someone had a Birthday...

So someone had a birthday! She has soft ears, loves to snuggle, has stinky farts and drools.
No, not Norah.
SADIE!

Our very own Sadie Sue turned 3, can't you see the excitement in her face?

So this is the first year we've made her a "cake." I keep seeing these doggy friendly cakes floating around pinterest so I thought I'd give it a try.

After the first lick, we quickly moved the party outside so she could have her cake and eat it too!

I think she liked it:)

Happy Birthday Sadie, we love you!!!
