Christmas Eve

First Christmas's are HUGE as a parent. You want everything to be perfect for your little one and make sure you capture every single expression. I tried this...But after the first, oh I don't know, 100 snap shots...I thought I'd just relax and enjoy this Holiday season, our first Christmas as a family of three.

Per Furnell tradition, we spent Xmas Eve at my Grandma's in Sedalia, MO with aunts, uncles and cousins. We opened presents, ate ourselves sick (i don't regret one pound), and laughed at our silly selves. The most fun was seeing Norah interact with the family. These will be memories I soon won't forget.

Poking cousin Caleb, bonk bonk!

Giggling with (second?) cousin Libby

Opening presents with Aunt Stephanie

Playing with cousin Avery

Cuddling with Grandpa Jerry

And my favorite...four generations:
Norah, Me, Grandpa, Great Grandma

Seven Months

What can I say? This little girl gets more darling every day. I thought 6 months was my favorite, but seven months is even better! She is just so MUCH fun! She eats like a champ, sleeps like a champ, plays like a champ...I'm having a proud mama moment, sigggghhh :)

She's doing better at eating solids, still prefers the boob but we give her just a bit of whatever we eat. She likes bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, green beans (all whole) and puffs! Puffs are like baby crack, she loooooooves puffs!

She talks all day long. I like to think we have our own special language. When I talk back to her, lets say in public, people think I've gone cray cray but I truly just don't care lol. Because look at this face...

LOVE HER!

"All I want for Christmas..."

We took Norah to meet Santa a few weeks ago and it was the cutest thing! She just kept looking from us to Santa back to us. There were no tears, no fits of rage. She just kept stroking his beard (not yanking it like she does my hair). I think she did well for a first timer :)
